The 2008 Milton Stanley Jr Foundation Banquet was held on June 14th 2008. In addition to an awesome catfish dinner we also had the 1st Annual MSJF Chili Cookoff. This was a CASI sanctioned event and we plan to continue the chili cookoff
because of the great response from everybody involved. This was also the 1st time we held the event at The Moose Lodge
in Pasadena. The staff at The Moose was very gracious and we plan to use this facility again next year. As a result of the
catfish dinner sales,chili cookoff and live and silent auctions we were able to raise money to go back to The Pasadena
Livestock Show & Rodeo Auction and buy a steer, hogs, goats, rabbits and lambs to distribute to The Wheelhouse, Sarah's House, The Bridge, The Rose and Boys and Girls Harbor. One of the organizations that the MSJF has worked closely with for the last few years is The Boys and Girls Harbor located in Morgan's Point Texas. Last year the MSJF provided an early Christmas present for about 70 residents at Boys and Girls Harbor in the form of a night out at The Incredible Pizza. To see alll of these great kids having a rare night out was a truly heart warming experience. Our friends at Melange Catering & Special Events provided gifts for all of the kids and the MSJF provided the food, drinks and game tickets which made this a very special night for evevrybody.

Recently some members of the Pasadena Rodeo and the MSJF came up with a plan to provide the Boys and Girls Harbor
crew with tickets to attend the Bull Mania Show at this years Pasadena Rodeo. After some discussion with PLS&R we
were able to get tickets for every resident and staff member at Boys and Girls Harbor. Thanks to a very generous
contribution from W.M.Dewey & Son Inc. Trucking, we not only provided tickets but were able to provide a catered
dinner at Boys and Girls Harbor facility in Morgans Point. We all had a wonderful time visiting and many of the
residents told us about what a great time they had at The Incredible Pizza. We hope to do the same this Christmas.

In September of this year, we lost a dear friend of the MSJF and lifetime member of The Pasadena Livestock Show
and Rodeo, Dudley Moeller. Dudley was a big part of all of our lives and we dedicated the Friday night Boys and
Girls Harbor event to Dudley's memory. We will always remember Dudley for his unconditional friendship and we
learned much from our friend as he battled cancer and beat it more than once. Thanks to Dudley's family for their
generous support of the MSJF.

This is a brief summary of what the Milton Stanley Jr Foundation does for our community. We thank everybody that
